Maskne has opened our beautiful eyes

People are often worried about acne on the face. Covid-19 has diverted our worries from acne to “Maskne”- a new dermatological terminology recently emerged in the BBC report.
What is “Maskne”? What difference does it make from that of acne? Acne is a skin condition that occurs when your hair follicles become plugged with oil and dead skin cells. It often causes whiteheads, blackheads or pimples, and usually appears on the face, forehead, chest, upper back, and shoulders. But “Maskne” is termed as mask-induced acne that comes out as a side-effect due to our regular wearing of a mask.
People all over the world are now worried about “Maskne”. Cosmetologists and Cosmological Pharmaceutical companies have invented some remedies for the “Maskne”. “Maskne” is generated due to the constant rubbing of the masks against the skin that causes micro-tears, which allows easier entry for bacteria and dirt to clog up skin pores.
Breathing into the mask also creates a hot and moist environment that leads to excess sweat, oil, and bacteria around the soft tissues of the facial skin. But some Cosmetologists believe that Mask is occlusive means, designed to block things and it is a protective shield to your facial skin.
The solution for “Maskne” as prescribed by some of the Cosmetologists is the application of more lightweight water-based facial skin products underneath the mask as it can act as an additional protective barrier and prevent chafing.
At the same time, the enforced wearing habit of the mask has made people concentrate on the make-up of eyes. Because the major portion of face is being eclipsed by the mask and the remaining is the area of our eyes. So people are aesthetically focussing the eyes and eyebrows for catching the attention and catering to the personality. The global cosmological pharmaceutical companies have already launched such products to highlight good looking eyebrows and eye shadows.
Some people but thanks Covid-19 as they are blessed by the pandemic that they could escape from the acne, blemishes, and other unpleasant deformities that have worried them so long. These people are going after attractive designer masks.
