Caution! Millions of babies are at Risk!!!

The World Health Organization (WHO), United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), and the other concerned organizations for children have warned that the life of about 80 millions of children is at risk. Fearing the spread of Covid-19, the vaccination programs against preventable diseases are stopped.  The report says that at least 68 countries have stopped the vaccination campaigns completely.

Reports are coming that the preventable diseases like Polio, Measles, diphtheria, and cholera are now spreading and on the rise. The health experts all over the world have expressed great concern over this. Kate O’Brien, the head of WHO immunization and vaccines department says that the diseases are coming back and the child-death will increase unprecedentedly. The governments should act immediately, Kate cautioned.

The parents are feared even to admit their children to any hospital for any diseases due to fear of Covid-19 infection. The health workers are all busily engaged in dealing with the Covid-19 campaign. There are reports that the preventive vaccines are not available in any of the health centers assigned for the children.

The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health warns disruption to these kinds of crucial health services and taking preventive measures for women and children, could result in as many as 6,000 additional children dying every day.
